Pastor Garland Faw
Senior Pastor
Pastor Faw is a godly leader who has pioneered many uncharted paths throughout his years of ministry. He was born August 3, 1938 in Landis, North Carolina and was saved at the age of 13 at vacation Bible school. After receiving his business degree from college, Pastor Faw worked for a trucking company in Charlotte, NC. In 1960, he was called to preach and moved to Chattanooga, Tenn. with his wife Kay and their daughter, Angela, and enrolled in Tennessee Temple University. Upon his graduation in 1963, he became pastor of a local church in Tennessee. Pastor Faw founded “The Eleventh Hour” television ministry, which was broadcast into many markets and syndicated by the Walter Bennett Agency. In 1972, he founded Truth Temple in Kannapolis, NC, a non-denominational church. He has served as senior pastor of Truth Temple until now. Pastor Faw has been married to his high school sweetheart, Kay, for over fifty years. They have four daughters, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pastor Faw and Kay have created a godly legacy of children and grandchildren who serve in full time ministry throughout the country. In his free time, Pastor Faw enjoys reading. Some of his favorite authors include Vance Havner, David Jeremiah, Perry Stone, John Hagee, A.W. Tozer, Hal Lindsey and John Walvoord.
