    Andrea has been connected to ministry, in one form or another, all her life.  Always a deep thinker and knowing that God had a call on her, she was drawn in her college years to study what makes people “tick”.  She obtained a B.A. in Psychology, knowing God was preparing her for ministry even then.

    While heavily involved in music ministry and children’s ministry for years, Andrea felt the Lord’s leading in April 2006 to a different dimension.  After surrendering and saying “yes” to God, a new vision was birthed in her heart.  What began as a ladies’ discipleship ministry in her home, has led to the formation of the “Real Talk” ministry.  Andrea feels that God is calling her to edify women and others in ministry by being real.  She states, “My mission is to encourage people by letting them know that they are not alone.  I want them to laugh, love, and live a life for God beyond their dreams.”

    Andrea is the daughter of Reverend Garland and Kay Faw and has witnessed what people with vision and passion can accomplish for God.  She knows there are pressures and responsibilities in public ministry.  However, as a mother to Nathan and Austin and wife of eighteen years to Terry, with God’s strength, she is ready for the challenges ahead.
